1.) There are always TWO sides to a conscience. What would Roger’s conscience be telling him?

His conscience was telling him that recognises that there is absolutely no danger to himself if he jumps in to save the boy; he could easily succeed if he tried. Nevertheless, he chooses to ignore the boy’s cries. The water is cold and he is afraid of catching a cold — he doesn’t want to get his good clothes wet either. this shows that he doesn’t value the boys life and doesn’t think he should inconvenience himself.

2.) Think of an example of Jesus’ teaching and explain how his teachings can help us to make an appropriate decision?

Thy shall not kill. this is similar as you can save a life but can’t bother. This can be compared to murder.

1. Being in relationship with God requires for you to understand the Catholic religion thorougly. You must know all the commandments of by heart and the many Christian like qualities. You must pray for others and mean it. You must not pray when you are just in vain but everyday. You must attend Church every Sunday.

 

 

 

2. You must not covet your neighbours wife and you must not covet anything that belongs to your neighbour.

Individual Task 4

1.) Give a brief description of who the Dalai Lama is? (Include resources to support)

Dalai Lama is a charming and charismatic leader. He is said to be the 14th reincarnation of a deity of companionship and wisdom but he claims to be a teacher.

2.) Evaluate how the actions of the Dalai Lama in regard to the riots in Tibet would be regarded as exemplary moral integrity.
 It is regarded as exemplary moral integrity because his religion is being despised by the Chinese government and so he must portect Buddhism.

1.) Describe the term ‘interactive TV’.

Interactive TV is when we can download TV shows through our phone lines onto our Set Top box and pay or rent the progams

2.) Explain the reasons why interactive TV is now called TV 2.0.

It is called TV 2.0 because it is in the new revolution of technology in television.

3.) Outline the positives and negatives of implementing interactive TV.

The Positives of implementing interactive TV would be that you could chose any show you would want to watch without any limitations to TV material and also television channels will get a better revenue as a result which mean furthermore the television revolution would be changed more efficiently and have better outcomes in new television technology. The negatives of it would be spending high costs on television and worrying about spending money many times making television owners limiting their television viewings at a minimal rate and another thing would be that the change can have pressure on people forcing them to change although they may have a low budget in changing due to financial reasons.

4.) Apple released recently Apple TV – Take 2. Describe the reasons why it needed to be changed.

Previously the Apple TV didn’t enable direct access to iTunes making it less practical and had to use a device which had access to iTunes to get the content. Now it allows easy, direct ccess to iTunes and its access to iTunes allows it to stream straight to the device. It comes with two graphical qualities which are formatted to DVD and HD which both come with 5.1 surround sound.

Journal Entry 10

Today we did a practical which was called, “Common indicators”. The aim of this experiment was to investigate the uses of various indicators in acidic and basic solutions. We were overall conducting the experiment safetly and tried not to ask our teacher help in the experiment as I heard that we may lose marks for it. Our teacher was really observing our behaviour and whether we were wearing safety goggles or not and if not we would lose marks.

Journal Entry 9

Today we did a practical which was called, “Acids with Metals”. The aim of the experiment was to find out the reactions of acids with metals. Overall I believe that as a group we were safe and precautious of not spilling chemicals and safety measures. We have to do a safety report as a group but I will find out what to do for that when the time comes. Our teacher said that a pop should’ve been heard but in this case it didn’t happen maybe due to the method of putting the match stick in the test tube properly in time and doing it right.

Today we did a practical called “Acids and metal carbonate”. The practical was very interesting and I didn’t know what the results would be. My hypothesis was not correct but our experiment was successful and safe with no one getting hurt. Everyone was wearing there safety glasses and following all instructions.  One thing was that the practical was longer than others as we had to test things with other substances. Another thing is that one of my team members would not be in our group anymore because he doesn’t attaend our school anymore.

1.) Explain the purpose of using ‘youtube’ as a source of digital media advertising?

Youtube is a very popular video site among the world and many people can just do one clikc to view the advertisment. 

 2.) Discuss how collaborative media sites such as youtube, myspace and bebo have changed the current boundaries of media such as news, advertising ect.

Many of these collaborative media sites can provide advertisments relevant to what you are searching for and can be of interest to you and can be accessed by nearly anyone. 

3.) Provide a link to an advertising commercial on youtube.
